Most of this specimen is composed of a very large, 7 cm long, well formed finger of very lustrous, translucent, light greenish-yellow prehnite. It is damage free and complete; and on the bottom clearly exhibits the hollow casts that show it once was a large anhydrite crystal, later covered over by the prehnite. Interestingly there is another stumpy, doubly-terminated prehnite finger that emanates off of the termination of the larger crystal at right angles. Unusual!
