This two-toned, matrix Fluorite specimen from Naica, Mexico, features several, large, gemmy, zoned crystals. All of the cubo-octahedral crystals have a mint green core with exteriors that have a nearly colorless exterior exhibiting a very faint pale lavender tint. The largest crystal in this group measures 5 cm across. The display face is pristine with some contacting on the periphery. The Fluorites are offset by a matrix hosting several splendent, black Sphalerite crystals to 1.5 cm across along with some disseminated, brassy yellow Pyrite crystals as seen on the bottom of the piece. This is a nice combination Fluorite piece from Naica! This came out of the single biggest find of such material in recent times, circa 2005.
