Metallic, brilliant nickel-green honessite crystals richly fill a 3 cm vug in this impressive matrix specimen from a now closed locality. Honessite is MUCH more rare than its close-relative millerite and I can assure you, having collected here as a kid, that the stuff is REALLY rare at Hall's Gap. 1 in 1000 geodes have it, 1 for every 100 that have millerite.
