This piece is special, in that it looks like a delicate arrangement but is actually quite robust, with all these sharp crystals well connected and curving out from a common core. They reach 3 cm in size and have excellent color and super velvety lustre to them. I rate this VERY highly among the small cabs here, though its not the most expensive. It is MUCH better in person as the subtle 3-dimensionality is hard to capture, just super elegant!

One of my favorites! This piece features two crystal habits symmetrically balanced , the fatter, curvy crystals forming a roseate flower bloom in the middle balanced by razor-sharp crystals to the sides, flanking and accenting the middle. A very dramatic specimen, overall, with lots of "style" and 3-dimensionality. Probably overall one of the more unique pieces in the update, when you see them in person.

A dramatic specimen that is, overall, festooned with the sharpest crystals around, improbably piled one atop another and sticking out every which way. It is either jumbly or amazing, depending on your perspective of such things I suppose. Personally I think it has so much relief, and is so balanced overall , that it is strikingly NOT jumbly but rather shows off the individual crystals superbly. It is complete all around the edges and in a showcase catches reflections from many angles, off the chatoyant malachite. One of my personal favorites in this lot!

A sharp small cab with close-packed, razor sharp crystals to about 1.5 cm on average . In person, it is very sharp, with points spiking out every which way. The two crowning crystals atop really add a nice accent.

A unique specimen! The only large plate in the lot, literally in the pocket, with sharp angular pseudomorphs so nicely arranged on brilliantly shimmering velvet malachite matrix (composed of minute acicular crystals, apparently). The deep forest green on grass green contrast is striking in the photo even, and much more so in person. There is no damage save a small bit at the right periphery, although the plate could also be displayed vertically with the right side as the base/bottom if that bothers you. I personally like the horizontal field of view, as it emphasizes the large area of contrast so nicely.

A spectacularly attractive, velvety, LARGE CABINET plate that is covered by crystals of high quality, and presents very 3-dimensionally in person. It is a really quite unprecedented Mexican malachite of the size and style one usually associates only with Tsumeb!
