ex. Charlie Key
This elegant matrix specimen features a quartz crystal reaching 4.0 cm in length, that is hematite included near the base and totally glassy and gemmy at the termination. The midpoint of the crystal offers a SHARP phantom.

CLASSIC material for the locale! A pristine, complete floater with no visible points of attachment, all of the quartz crystals are doubly-terminated . Extremely aesthetic in its crystal arrangement, this is a cluster of gemmy and glassy, colorless crystals, to 8.00 cm in length. A later generation of reddish-brown hematite has coated the crystals In addition, the largest crystal is also a DT scepter. The multiplicity of fine and unusual characteristics has made this specimen a magnificent example of the mineral kingdom!

This specimen consists of two colorless quartz scepters that have been dusted by included hematite. The matte luster stem contrasts nicely with the gemmy, smoky termination. The large crystal is 9.8 cm in length, and is pristine. The smaller, sidecar crystal has a tiny ding at the tip but is otherwise perfect.

ONE OF THE BEST OF THE LOT! This matrix specimen consists of a cluster of rather equant, translucent quartz crystals to 5.0 cm in length. The color is incredible: The glassy crystals are heavily included with hematite, giving the crystals a very rich reddish color. Most of the crystals exhibit phantoms right at the very top of the terminations. Overall, dramatic, distinct, and pristine on the display face

One of my personal favorites in this update, this matrix cluster exhibits dramatic yet understated characteristics. The flesh colored feldspar matrix gives way to a cluster of glassy and gemmy, hematite included quartz crystals which have taken on a wonderful orange hue. The largest crystal measures 3.9 cm in length, and as far as I can tell, the specimen is pristine. Aesthetic, to say the least!

>On matrix, this is a beautiful cluster of hematite included, lustrous, reddish, quartz crystals, to 3.0 cm in length, even have a hint of amethyst. I also like the uniform, spire-like effect of the crystals.

One large quartz crystal measuring 6.25 cm in length, and leaning slightly to the right, is framed by a cluster of smaller crystals leaning to the left, a very aesthetic arrangement. The glassy crystals are all infused with hematite, thus exhibiting a lovely reddish hue. Several crystals including the largest have distinct phantoms at the apex of their terminations.

Glassy and gemmy quartz crystals, to 8.7 cm in length are partially coated by a thin veneer of hematite, giving the specimen a beautiful, reddish coloring. The color contrast and zoning is super!

This specimen consists of several, rather equant, glassy and gemmy, amethystine crystals that were partially included by hematite, on preferential faces, giving the whole specimen an alternate brown, purple effect. The large crystal, in the center, is 4.0 cm in length.

A stunning piece with GLASSY, transparent, hematite-included quartz crystals, to 5.75 cm in length, featuring at least two that are doubly-terminated . This is an unlikely , sculptural cluster to have survived and is very distinct out of all the specimens here. Also, several crystals have unusual growths right at the apex of their terminations. For the gemminess and brightness, this is a stellar specimen.

Rising majestically above smaller crystals is a large, glassy and gemmy quartz crystal, 5.75 cm in length, that has been included by disseminated hematite. This large crystal is also a fine scepter. It LOOKS awesome form the display face, but there is a large contact (missing attached crystal) on the left side, and thus the price is reduced accordingly...though it looks great from the front anyhow.

This matrix cluster of quartz crystals features three generations of growth. The first was that of milky quartz which was later overgrown by glassy and gemmy terminations which also had a dusting of goethite, giving all the crystals a smoky appearance. A third generation of hematite included quartz, with a light rose color, covered the lower 2/3 of the crystals. Each of the crystals, to 3.5 cm in length, exhibits magnificent phantoms created by the tips of the original milky cores. In all, this is a subtly aesthetic crystal group, and among my personal favorites.

Absolutely limpid, light smoky quartz crystals, to 8.0 in length, comprise this very aesthetic cluster. The clarity, luster, and color of these crystals is just outstanding for any locality - but without the hematite and red coloration, the quartzes from here just don't fetch smoky quartz values as with other locales. So, a relative bargain?!.

Three, diverging, glassy, quartz crystals, to 7.0 cm in length, are generally colorless except for the terminations, which have inclusions of brown hematite and black goethite.

WOW! This is a dramatic and superb miniature of parallel growth quartz crystals, to 5.0 cm in length. The crystals are very glassy and gemmy, with the lower portions of the crystals heavily included by reddish-brown hematite, with the terminal faces being transparent and colorless. The interface between the hematite colored portions and the transparent terminations exhibits beautiful phantoms. This is an incredible quartz fo rhte size range, that will leap out in any showcase.
