Terra-cotta-red colored stilbite crystals abound on a matrix of basalt. The lustrous and translucent crystals occur in diverging sprays, the largest of which measure 3.0 cm across. One of the largest such plates of this material I have seen to date!
This very aesthetic specimen features glassy, transparent, faint green to colorless, fluorapophyllite crystals which culminate in two large crystals, at the top, each measuring 4.0 cm in length. Bisecting the two large fluorapophyllite crystals is a doubly terminated, translucent, lustrous, light, salmon colored, stilbite, "bow tie". Super!
