The mineral, barite, is a rare constituent of the trap rocks of India, so this specimen, from a new find, is important. It has silky, waxy luster and good translucence, along with a slightly gray color. Most Unusual!

This V shaped specimen of stilbite is bisected by a doubly terminated, pearlescent stilbite crystal. All three of the main crystals exhibit translucence and super luster as well as a terra-cotta color. The dt crystal measures 2.7 cm across.

This aesthetic, upright, specimen is composed of three, doubly terminated, tabular, fluorapophyllite, crystals, to 1.5 cm across, invested with green and red mozartite. VERY striking specimen! Its a toenail, really - either a boxbusting thumbnail or a small miniature. The aesthetics of it are just sharp as you could desire.

This is an aesthetic miniature on matrix, consisting of India’s two best known, trap rock, mineral species. The very lustrous, partially transparent, light green, fluorapophyllite measures 5.0 cm in length and terminates in a basal pinacoid. Along side the big crystal are a few pearlescent stilbite crystals, to 2.0 cm across.

The highlight of this specimen is the natural, diverging, fluorapophyllite crystals that form a "V’. The larger of these gemmy, extremely lustrous, crystals, measures 6.5 cm in length, and is doubly terminated. It is complete alla round and a floater, save one broken crystal in the back. Surrounded by sheaves of pearlescent, stilbite, to 3.0 cm in length, is a large, translucent, lustrous, emerald green, crystal of fluorapophyllite, terminated by a basal pinacoid and measuring 4.0 cm across.

The brilliant luster and transparency highlight this cluster of intergrown, colorless fluorapophyllite crystals. The longest crystal, which is doubly terminated, measures 7.0 cm in length. A bed of white chalcedony acts as the matrix for this cluster of lustrous, translucent, light, salmon-pink, stilbite crystals, to 10.0 cm across for the largest "bow tie". To boot, a 5 cm colorless fluorapophyllite juts out underneath the left side of the largest stilbite. A relatively inexpensive, but superb, stilbite specimen from this classic locale

This specimen is composed of intergrown fluorapophyllite crystals, the largest of which is an equant, fully terminated, crystal, 4.5 cm across. This sharp and rather large crystal shows wonderful edge modification son each corner, and is undamaged. It is totally invested with yellow-ish (unusual color) mozartite.

Growing on a sliver of matrix, are two, large, blocky, crystals of glassy, bi-colored, fluorapophyllite ,the largest of which is 7.0 cm in length. For aesthetics, the two crystals form a near perfect "V" and there are also pearlescent, 2.0 cm across stilbite crystals scattered on the fluorapophyllite crystals. A VERY showy and aesthetic piece!

This fine specimen is composed of lustrous, translucent, rich, teal blue clusters of cavansite emplaced on contrasting, white matrix of mordenite or powedery stilbite. The largest cluster of cavansite crystals is 2.0 cm across. Aesthetic and lovely! Looks like they are drip-dropping down the crevasse...In any case, certainly an unusually arranged specimen not like you normally see!

This unusual specimen is not only a complete floater, with no visible point of attachment, but the intergrown, crystals of blocky, fluorapophyllite, to 2.0 cm across, have been infused by both, olive green, mozartite, a recently described, calcium, manganese, silicate and also by dark red hematite. This is definitely a different breed of Fluorapophyllite !

This is an extremely showy specimen! Nestled among crystal clusters of doubly terminated, gemmy, colorless, fluorapophyllite, to 5.0 cm across are lustrous, brown, saddle shaped, crystals of heulandite, to 5.5 cm across. The color contrast is wonderful!
