2 sharp crystals, complete on both sides, in a cluster. Excellent representative example from this find
A beautiful single crystal, complete on both sides, in a cluster of smaller wulfenites. Excellent representative example from this find
This is one of the two largest of the recently found wulfenites from this new mine (so far as we know), this specimen is very impactful in a showcase and has juicy yellow color. It is , I think, important enough for the locality and its size to overcome some slight edge wear (at a reasonable price), as it displays so well and has such unusual color. The crystal is very robust, a bit sharper in person than it appears in photos. It is also very HEAVY for a single wulfenite crystal! Like others in this lot, it is a "cutter" with some value in what would be highly unusual , large, YELLOW wulfenite cut gems, contained inside. I am tempted to just cut it to start with, but wanted to give specimen collectors a shot before going that route. Complete all around but for a few minor edge wear and a slight contact in back.
One of the largest of the recently found wulfenites from this new mine (so far as we know), this specimen is very impactful in a showcase and has juicy yellow color, grading to a more common orangey-brown color at its base. The crystal is complete except for very minor edge wear and a contact in back. These are SO distinct from any other wulfenites, really quite shocking to look at! Also, it is a "cutter" with at LEAST this value in what would be highly unusual , large, YELLOW wulfenite cut gems, contained inside. I am tempted to just cut it to start with, but wanted to give specimen collectors a shot before going that route. Shown backlit in second photo
Like the above, this is a fat, robust crystal of juicy yellow color, from this new find. Complete all around and with some intrinsic gem rough value. It is perched on a shard of quartz matrix, and is strangely elongated.

A sharp single crystal, complete on both sides. The asymmetry on upper right tip is a contact, not damage.
A beautiful single crystal, complete on both sides. Excellent representative example from this find
A juicy yellow wulfenite that has the color of Mexican yellow mimetite. This is a fat (to 1.6 cm), elegantly tapered crystal! It is a small miniature in size. Complete on both sides, strikingly equant. Slight ding on one back tip but from the front , pristine.
This is one of the two largest of the recently found wulfenites from this new mine (so far as we know), this specimen is very impactful in a showcase and has juicy yellow color. The brown crystal at rightmost is a slender attached cerussite. There is admittedly some edge damage on sides and bottom, but the piece still displays dramatically and is , I think, important enough for the locality and its size to overcome the slight edge wear (at a reasonable price). Also, it is a "cutter" with at LEAST this value in what would be highly unusual , large, YELLOW wulfenite cut gems, contained inside. I am tempted to just cut it to start with, but wanted to give specimen collectors a shot before going that route.
A juicy yellow wulfenite that has the color of Mexican yellow mimetite. This is a fat (to 2 cm), elegantly tapered crystal! It is a small miniature in size. Complete on both sides, strikingly equant. A few slight dings and on one back tip a minor contact, but from the front it displays quite well. Also, it has some cutting rough value, as yellow wulfenite in cut gems is quite uncommon!
A beautiful juicy yellow crystal, very fat and unusually elongated on its sides. This has a small attached cerussite in front, as you see. It is complete on both sides but for very minor wear, a few dings on terminations. Still, it displays nicely as a large thumbnail or smallish miniature. Also, it has some cutting rough value, as yellow wulfenite in cut gems is quite uncommon!
Fat, 3-dimensional crystals in a sharp cluster. There is a small contact on the big crystal and a damaged edge on the sidecar on which it sits, but overall displays nicely
A sharp cluster of three approx. 1-cm crystals, very sharp and pyramidal in appearance, complete all around
