Nestled in a vug are lustrous and translucent, snow white crystals of hydrocerussite, to 1.7 cm in length. From a very old, classic locale for this rarity!

Emplaced aesthetically on matrix along with a layer of snow-white natrolite, are several very lustrous, black neptunite crystals to 2.3 cm in length. The largest neptunite is particularly dramatic and fat (8mm), making this a stellar and impactful display-quality miniature, much more than merely a typical representative piece. An added bonus is a blue benitoite crystal measuring 4 mm in length. Al traded this from mine owner Buzz Gray, in 1976, per his label.

On a sliver of matrix are two large rosettes, to 4.5 cm across, formed by bladed crystals of lustrous, black hematite. Emerging from the hematite are a few transparent colorless quartz crystals, to 3.3 cm in length. This is a very fine combo specimen featuring differing colors and textures, way beyod the normal quality expected of material from this still-producing locale. For the size, it is among the best of its type I have seen for 3-dimensional balance and aesthetics, and the absolute gemminess of the quartzes which are usually more cloudy and dull from this location.

Nestled in a vug along with minor colorless quartz, in crystals to, 1 cm in length, are extremely lustrous, blue black crystals of lazulite that exhibit gemmy flashes of neon, teal blue. The largest lazulite crystal measure 1 cm in length. Al self-collected these fantastic Canadian specimens himself over several trips in the 1970s-1980s. This is a large, pretty specimen aside from its quality for the species

A classic from older finds here, now hard to get on the market in quality: Composed of tiny crystals that formed interconnected spheres with good luster and a rich forest green to emerald green color, this fine atacamite is also a complete floater with no visible points of attachment. The largest sphere measures 2 cm across. The piece overall has a very saturated, rich color.

A colorful oldtimer from Tiger, this colorful specimen features glassy and translucent, neon-blue linarite crystals to 1 cm in length associated with lustrous and translucent, colorless crystals of cerussite, to 1 cm across. Some of the crystals are contacted or broken, this is true; but the sheer color and combination overcomes that drawback at this price, in my opinion. An old specimen which is probably 40-50 years out of the ground.

A thing of beauty, this Illinois fluorite exhibits stepped growth with gemmy overgrowths and razor sharp phantoms! It is very lustrous and nearly transparent , with a rich purple color on the edges and a core of amber. In addition there is color zoning at the crystal edges. Very elegant and colorful! It is simply better in person, as the combination of the color zones is hard to image with camera the way the human eye separates them. Sharp and nearly pristine, the piece is complete on all edges and contacted on the bottom only.

This specimen is from the type locality for leightonite, which is an uncommon hydrated, potassium, calcium, copper, sulfate. The display side of the specimen is covered in intergrown sharp-edged, light teal colored crystals, to 3 mm in length. This is an unusually large and very rich specimen with gorgeous sea-blue color. This is old material, as well, seldom seen on the market. Al bought this in 2000 from a retired mine worker's collection.

An attractive combination piece: On a weathered basalt matrix are rhombohedral crystals, to 1.2 cm across, of lustrous and translucent, salmon-colored chabazite along with lustrous and translucent, colorless crystals of analcime, to 7 mm across. Self-collected by Robert Fender many years ago (probably circa 1960s-1970s)

A glassy, translucent, snow-white crystal of analcime, measuring 3.4 cm across, is aesthetically perched high on matrix. Superb locality example, and better than other (smaller) specimens I have personally seen from here in the past. Self-collected by Robert Fender many years ago (probably circa 1960s-1970s). Surprisingly, this ranks up tehre with analcime from Mt St Hilaire, and I had no idea that the Parrsboro area produced this quality.

Intergrown sheaves of lustrous and translucent, richly-colored stilbite, to 8 mm in length, are emplaced on matrix. Very minor colorless calcite is situated on the lower front side of the specimen. This piece has vry deep color for the locale. Self-collected by Robert Fender many years ago (probably circa 1960s-1970s)

A rich cluster of intergrown, sharp rhombohedrons of very lustrous and translucent, rich salmon-colored chabazite crystals to 1.2 cm across. Chabazite is one of the less common members of the zeolite family and this is a famous old locality for the species. Note that the display core is intact, although there is some peripheral damage at the edges. Self-collected by Robert Fender many years ago (probably circa 1960s-1970s)

This is a rare, large locality stilbite specimen that was self-collected by Robert Fender many years ago (probably circa 1960s-1970s). It is a large cluster consisting of many, intergrown, mushroom shaped, lustrous and translucent, tan stilbite crystals, to 3 cm in length.

This hanksite specimen is highlighted by a huge, doubly terminated, well formed crystal that reaches 16 cm in length. It's so symmetrical that its hexagonal form is textbook sharp and mesmerizing for any species. It is emplaced on matrix with a few smaller hanskite crystals, all of which exhibit matte luster and good translucence withan unusual golden gray color. Note that these are lightly oiled with mineral oil to preserve them from changing environments (from the very wet and saturated environment in which they formed). As long as they are kept in air-conditioning and not exposed to profound dry air, they should be stable. This is a stunning and important example of the species, collected by Al Ordway sometime in the 1960s or 1970s
