A superb miniature with fat, sharp crystals in a balanced cluster, that is complete all around. There is only contact, a small area where it touched matrix, on a small spot in the rear-bottom. It is pristine otherwise, all around. The crystals reach 3 cm across. This is one of the best miniatures we have seen, and it has the very rare translucent surface which only about 1 in 100 cuprites from this find possess (when very strongly backlit, it is 1-2 mm translucent). The lustre is also very high on this style, like glass and more than on the other style of cuprite from the locale. A small trace of associated silver is present. The overall symmetry, lustre, and beauty of this piece is hard to describe in photos - suffice to say that we have handled or seen over a thousand pieces from this production, including what i am sure are the best specimens in a very high price range, and this piece ranks with them for quality. It is , i believe, one of the finest minaitures produced.

This is a massive, large cuprite specimen that features a single crystal of 5.5 cm attached to a smaller crystal of 3.2 cm, to make a very 3-dimensional and robust cluster. The lustre is very good for this style, and it looks "polished" though of course it is not. In stronger light, you can see the reflectivity is greater (bottom-right). The crystal is huge, very robust and impressive, in a way hard to communicate ion the photos. This specimen would, if perfect, cost in the $25,000 range as a few others have. It looks good visually, but I need to admit it has some contact on the bottom, and the backside, and the tips of the smaller sidecar 3.2 cm cuprite are a little damaged. . Nevertheless, this is an impressive piece, and at a reduced price for damage or contact that is invisible unless you look closely, so that it presents from the front as one of the more important pieces.

With crystals growing out on all sides, much like a stalactite, this complete-all-around floater specimen displays from any angle, and both vertical and horizontal. It has metallic octahedrons of dark red cuprite, to 1 cm in length. The silvery spots you see are just that -native silver, microcrystallized in some cracks and crevasses amongst the cuprite (and more visible in person as it is hard to photo both the lustre and the depth at same time). A highly unusual association!

This is one of the few VERY complete psuedomorphs we have seen from the deposit, over its run from 2008-2011. Most pseudomorphs are only partial, still very much cuprite and showing cuprite on some faces. This piece is complete all around and has great patina, on the intrictae copper crystals (which reach 2 cm). Interestingly, this is not a smooth copper pseudomorph , as with for example the material from New Mexico or Tsumeb in which copper replaces azurite or cuprite respectively. Here, the replacement seems to have happened in a more intricate process, resulting in small crystals of copper atop the actual pseudomorph, or comprising it. It looks more like a biological invasion than the typical replacement pseudomorph surface. Complete all around, and aesthetic

This is a solid mass composed of brilliantly metallic, sharp octahedrons of dark cuprite to 1.5 cm in length. The luster on these crystals is particularly vivid and almost glassy. It is very hard to photograph and get both depth and lustre to show accurately! For contrast, the comparatively dull spots you see in the photo are felt mats of native crystallized silver, spread throughout. The piece is complete all around, 360 degrees, and is particlarly impressive in person

This imposing small cabinet specimen is our largest cluster, from purchases of material made by picking from 7 different lots that came to market through different dealers over the last 4 major shows. Composed of several dozens of crystals, this specimen is composed of SHARP octahedrons of dark red cuprite, up to 1.2 cm in length. It is very unusual, with so many crystals and such 3-dimensional exposure, that very few show any contact/damage at all (it is essentially pristine, really). This piece looks good vertical or horizontal, and is one of the larger undamaged specimens of this quality which we saw in the various lots at the Denver and Munich shows. The piece is richly associated with feltlike mats of native silver, in small dendritic crystals growing amongst the cuprite crevasses (a highly unusual association, as a bonus!)

Aesthetically perched atop a cluster of smaller crystals is a splendent, dark red, octahedron of cuprite, measuring 2 cm on edge or 2.5 cm in length across. Remarkably, this pristine crystal is perched so it shows 5 of the 6 octohedral terminations. Simply beautiful aesthetic, sharp form, and a brilliant lustre make this one of the finest pieces in the update!
